New Scratch and Dent Insurance from Total Loss Gap

Since the launch of our evolutionary Gap Insurance product in March 2015, Total Loss Gap has added a number of complimentary products for our customers. The newest of which is a minor cosmetic damage insurance product that we think knocks the socks off many of our competitor's versions in the market.

More claims with Scratch and Dent Insurance from Totallossgap

With our new Scratch and Dent Insurance, you can make up to 6 claims per 12 month period of cover. So if you had a three-year policy that would be a total of 18 claims that can be made.

Compare that to other products in the market you may only see 2 or 3 claims permitted per annum. We literally give you double or treble a number of claims permitted. We are not saying you will need all of them, but the option can only be a good thing.

More comprehensive areas of cover

Many of our competitors SMART repair Insurance cover will not allow for the damage to spread over more than one body panel, with the new cover from TLG then we can cover damage across 2 body panels within standard damage sizes. So where some products would not cover you if you have a 10cm scratch across the edge of your door and wing, you claim can be considered with our new policy.

This may be particularly important if you have a pearlescent paint finish on your vehicle, and any painted repair normally required a blending across an adjacent panel.

No waiting period when you take out cover

Many online competitors have a 'waiting period' when you buy a policy. This is essentially a period of time after you buy the policy during which you cannot make a claim. With the Scratch and Dent cover from TLG you do not have any waiting period at all.
