The new '18 plate' vehicles herald record sales of Alloy Wheel, Tyre and Cosmetic Repair Insurance products for Total Loss Gap
March 2018 brought the first '18' plate vehicles on to the UK roads. Whilst it has been widely reported that the sales of new cars is down this year, at Total Loss Gap we have seen an huge increase in both sales and intertest in the additional products we sell after Gap Insurance.
These products include:
Alloy Wheel Insurance including cover for diamond cut alloys
Combined Tyre and Alloy Wheel Insurance
These additional products have become ever more popular as they are often offered by motor dealers at point of sale of the vehicle. The alternative products that Total Loss Gap offer often provide much better features and benefits as well as significant savings to dealer and other indepedent products in the marketplace.
Some examples would include:
Alloy Wheel Insurance
- up to 4 claims per year of cover. Many other products are only 2 or 3 claims per year.
- cover for both standard and diamond/laser cut finish alloys. Many other alloy wheel products exclude cover for the ever more popular diamond/laser finished alloys
- a contribution of up to £150 is a cosmetic SMART repair of the alloy wheel is not possible
Tyre Insurance
- up to 4 claims per year for repair or replacement tyres. Many other products offer far less maximum claims
- up to £350 per replacement tyre cost
- cover for standard and 'run flat' tyres available
- national tyre retailers 'on account' for claims
Combined Wheel Alloy & Tyre Insurance
- up to 4 claims per year for alloy wheel claims AND up to 4 years per year for Tyre claims
- cover for many types of alloys including diamond and laser cut
- up to £350 per replacement tyre cost
- cover for standard and 'run flat' tyres
- combined tyre insurance and alloy wheel insurance with a lower premium than buying the products individually
Cosmetic Repair/Scratch and Dent Insurance
- up to 6 claims per 12 month period
- cover damage over 2 adjacent body panels
- £10 excess per claim
- mobile repairer to your home, or place of work, for your convenience
At Total Loss Gap we really believe you would be hard pressed to find a product range with better features in the market today. Judging by the record March sales figures for these products then it looks like our customers agree with us too!
