How are diamond or laser cut alloy wheels repaired?

Having diamond/laser cut alloy wheels on your car can really set off the vehicle aesthestically and this type of finish is ever more popular on the modern vehicle. However, like any alloy wheel it can be very easy to nudge and scrape the alloy down a kerb, leaving a nasty score mark on your wheel.

As you may be aware, Total Loss Gap offers both Alloy Wheel Insurance and Combined Wheel Insurance (Tyre and Alloy Wheel Insurance) that can cover cosmetic repair costs.

We are often asked how Alloy Wheels are fully refurbished, if this is required as part of a claim on the policy. We found this video from the Alloy Wheel specialists at First Aid Wheels that shows the process in action.
