Prepare for the new BMW 7 Series

BMW have this week teased their brand new 7 Series model and have also confirmed date on which we will see the brand new car for the very first time. The brand revealed a teaser image which showed the design structure that the German firm would be taking their 7 Series model. The teaser image showed the outline of the vehicle with a dull orange light behind it just showing a silhouette of the car. A new engine addition and new changes are also expected to be brought forward with the car all of which we would expect to hear about on the cars reveal date. The 7 Series is one of the firms longest running and most prestigious vehicles with a history that goes back to the beginning of production in the mid seventies. There have been over four different generations of the car since this time and this next addition is expected to be the biggest yet.

What can we expect from the new 7 Series?

BMW have made every attempt to keep information about the new car very much under lock and key and they have done a good job of this. However there is some speculation as to what could come along with the new car and one of these big ideas is a V8 sized engine under the bonnet that is also expected to be twin turbocharged. The only other thing really known about the design structure of the next 7 Series is that the chassis will be made from carbon fibre material which will improve performance and the overall agility of the vehicle compared to past additions in the family. It has been confirmed that the companies all new laser light technology will also take its place of pride on the new 7 Series.

When will BMW show the new 7 Series?

BMW confirmed that the unveiling date for the new model will officially take place on the tenth of June. This means we will see the car take a bow next Wednesday. Over the past forty plus years, many competition has come and gone for the 7 Series but some of the biggest it has ever faced came from the Jaguar XJ and the Mercedes S Class line up. It is difficult to tell at this stage just how well the new 7 Series will match up to these models again however, we think that the new model will bring the biggest competition to these other vehicles yet. This new car also follows up from the changes that are being brought to the companies 3 Series model which will see the brand look for more sales than ever before thanks to some fine new additions that could also carry over to the next 7 Series.
