Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Aequitas Automotive Ltd

Aequitas Automotive Ltd is committed to acting responsibly, ethically, and with integrity within our business. We employ a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we expect an aligned approach from all of our suppliers, contractors, and business partners.

Modern slavery is a crime and a serious violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We recognise our responsibility to help prevent these practices in our business and throughout our supply chains.

Our Business

We are a UK-based insurance intermediary specialising in motor insurance products. While our business is not in a sector generally regarded as high risk for modern slavery, we acknowledge that no organisation is exempt and we remain vigilant.

Our Approach

To support our commitment:

  • We require suppliers and partners to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and all relevant legislation.
  • Our contracts include clear prohibitions against the use of forced, trafficked, or child labour.
  • We expect suppliers to apply the same standards with their own suppliers.
  • We monitor government guidance and update our practices to reflect evolving expectations.

Our People

All staff are made aware of this policy and are encouraged to report any concerns relating to modern slavery at the earliest opportunity. We will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith. This includes where they turn out to be mistaken.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to reviewing and improving our processes to strengthen our response to modern slavery risks. Transparency and ethical practice remain central to how we operate and to the partnerships we maintain.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Aequitas Automotive Ltd’s modern slavery and human trafficking statement.
