A look into what the Suzuki Swift has to offer

Today here at Total Loss Gap we are having a look at one of the most popular selling city cars in the United Kingdom and that is the Swift from Japanese manufacturer Suzuki. The Swift is a smooth runner that gets you from A to B without a problem. City cars hold a strong place in the automotive industry right now with cars such as the Fiesta and the 500 range from Fiat bringing in a lot of competition. Other models that the Swift has to contend with also includes both the Yaris and Aygo models from Toyota too. Believe it or not, the Swift is now fifteen years old with the latest third lifecycle for the car kicking off in 2010. There has since been different versions of the car out on sale which include the Sport and the SZ-R model. Today however we are not just choosing one car. We are going to take a look across the entire range of third generation model and have a look at the trim levels and some of the best equipment and engines that they provide.

A look into the trims and accessories on offer across the range

So kicking us off here is the entry level Swift. For this model both petrol and diesel engines are available to choose from with the petrol carrying 1.2 litres and the diesel with 1.3. Stop start technology comes with the Swift as standard as does some key highlights such as Bluetooth, automatic air conditioning and USB connectivity. The SZ-L limited edition model is the next in the line up. In regards to the look and design structure fo the vehicle, this may very well be the best entrant into the range. Both Blue or Black metallic paint work can be chosen for this limited edition model and these are contributed brilliantly by a White roof. The SZ-L also adds a new spoiler and LED daytime running lights too.

The Swift is known for offering some great standard equipment such as electric windows, power steering and heated door mirrors. It is the SZ-L that gives the best value for money in our opinion though. Central locking, sixteen inch alloy wheels and a leather steering wheel are even more features which add to the value.

How much is the Suzuki Swift range on sale for?

Prices for the Swift range begin from a figure of £8,999 for entry level vehicles. However the further down the line you go with more added trim levels and you can expect to pay anywhere up to £13,699 for the range topping SZ4 in 4x4 format. All versions of the Suzuki Swift are on sale right now with more information regarding offers and finance deals available at your local Suzuki dealership.
