Tyre
This insurance will cover the cost of repairing or replacing your tyre in the event of any accidental or malicious damage incurring a puncture. You have the ability to make upto 4 claims per year. In the event of the puncture being repaired, there is a maximum contribution of £50 per claim. In the event of the tyre needing to be replaced, we contribute as much as £350 per claim.
This policy is contracted to a number of tyre specialists such as Halfords Autocentre and Kwik Fit for example, where providing you're within claims team hours and your claim is approved you will be directed to your nearest garage on account. If you are making a claim outside of claims team hours, we would need to go through the reimbursement process which is slightly different. Alloy Wheel
This insurance policy will cover the cost of having your alloy wheel repaired. In the event of you needing to make a claim we will arrange for a local authorised repair to take place at your home or place of work for example. You have the ability to make upto 4 claims per year. There is no maximum repair cost in the event of a remote repair. In the event of the alloy wheel needing to be replaced, we will contribute as much as £150 towards the replacement cost of the wheel.
If the damage to the wheel is significant and the repair cannot be done remotely at your home address or place of work, we do have alternative repair methods available. We have the ability to send the wheel away to a central repair location, for the wheel to be repaired and then sent back to you, all postage and packaging paid for. However, this can take upto 10 working days for the wheel to be repaired and sent back to you. If this is not the most convenient method for you, we can request for an alternative method to be used.

When buying Combined Tyre & Alloy Wheel protection from Totallossgap.co.uk you have to fit a select number of criteria in order to be eligible for a policy. Please see below a list of criteria you have to fit in order to purchase a policy.

Excluded Wheel Types
Certain types of specialist alloy wheels are beyond the scope of cosmetic repair techniques and therefore cannot be covered by this insurance. This includes but is not limited to: Chrome finish wheels, multi piece wheels ('split rims'). Powder coated, Magnesium, Flange-cut, Hydro-dipped and anodised wheels, Pinstripe and powder coated finishes.

Tyre
You have the ability to make as many as 4 claims per year on the tyres alone. Therefore, a total of 12 claims on the tyres over the maximum term of 3 years.
In the event of the tyre suffering a repairable puncture, the maximum puncture repair cost is £50. However, if the tyre is not repairable and instead has to be replaced, we will contribute as much as £350 towards the cost of a replacement tyre of the equivalent specification. If you are fortunate enough to claim within claims team hours, simply contact the claims team to find your nearest approved tyre supplier.
There is an initial 30 day claims waiting period.
Alloy
You have the ability to make as many as 4 claims per year on the alloy wheels as well as the ability to make another 4 claims on the tyres separately. Again, this gives you a total of 12 potential claims on the alloy wheels over a three year term.
In the event of a remote 'Smart' repair or central repair, there is no maximum repair cost. Other policies may be limited to a maximum of £50 - £150 per repair.
In the event of the wheel not being repairable, we will contribute £150 towards the replacement cost of another wheel.
There is an initial 30 day claims waiting period.

"Just a thank you for a job well done.
I damaged a car wheel. Total Loss gave the go-ahead on the Tuesday for Claim repairs to be undertaken.
Revive contacted me to arrange a repair date - and agreed it to be done the following day.
Revive is a Company I have used before so it was great to once again speak with and have the assurance of Byron Lindsay.
The Engineer from Revive turned up at the agreed time and carried out the repair. A very amiable gentlemen who clearly takes pleasure in his work. The repair was completed and I could not tell there had ever been any damage.
So to both Companies - An excellent result for me. No stress or book passing. Just a very good experience.
